When a precious two-year-old girl named Lily was diagnosed with cancer, her parents were understandably devastated. As soon word of Lily’s diagnosis reached family friend Holly Christensen, her mind immediately began racing, thinking of a way to help.

Holly, a 31-year-old mother of three, knew from her days as an oncology nurse just how difficult the hair loss associated with chemotherapy can be for a patient. So, with crochet hook in hand, she set herself to creating a pretty and playful Disney-princess-inspired wig for little Lily.

“I knew she would be going through a difficult time, and that no one would be able to take her suffering away. I figured that the yarn wig could help bring a little magic and fun to a difficult time in her life,” said Holly.
