Green Party candidate, Jill Stein, has initiated a campaign to have a vote recount in Wisconsin. The votes were too close, and it’s more of an display of how Democrats and liberals don’t know how to react to a Trump Presidency.
They say they have to determine if hacking played any role whatsoever in Trump’s win. The campaign was about to disappear, and the Clinton machine jumped on board.
Clinton is now endorsing the recount. Ever since the landslide against Clinton on election night her supporters have taken to the streets and whined and complained to anyone who will listen about how unfair the results were. Clinton once decried Trump’s commitment to not accept a loss, but now she sings a different tune.
It used to be in America that once an election was held its results were final.
Then Donald Trump, and Hillary were running for President. Trump ran and garnered success by playing off the narrative that he was the ultimate underdog and outsider in this race, and that his success was being suppressed by the establishment. He famously said that he wouldn’t accept the election results if he lost, because a win for Hillary would mean that the whole thing was rigged.
But now that Trump has won, the Democrats are pulling out every trick in the book.
Trump’s campaign has called these tactics “ridiculous” and “a scam by the Green Party.”
There’s one last play the Democrats have up their sleeves, and that’s to somehow convince members of the Electoral College to switch their votes from Trump to Hillary.
The act would historically unprecedented, but not illegal to do so.
The Clinton posted a message to a Medium blog, where they reinforced the narrative of Donald Trump being in collusion with the Russian government. They reiterate that it was the Russians who were the source of the DNC email hacks, and that they masterminded the “Fake News” propaganda that has become the subject of so much speculation now.
“Because we had not uncovered any actionable evidence of hacking or outside attempts to alter the voting technology, we had not planned to exercise this option ourselves, but now that a recount has been initiated in Wisconsin, we intend to participate in order to ensure the process proceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides. If Jill Stein follows through as she has promised and pursues recounts in Pennsylvania and Michigan, we will take the same approach in those states as well. We do so fully aware that the number of votes separating Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in the closest of these states — Michigan — well exceeds the largest margin ever overcome in a recount. But regardless of the potential to change the outcome in any of the states, we feel it is important, on principle, to ensure our campaign is legally represented in any court proceedings and represented on the ground in order to monitor the recount process itself.”
Trump isn’t budging or acting intimidated, this is an area where he thrives. He won’t be intimidated, even by a Clinton. The Trump team put out the idea that Stein’s attempt to raise money for a recount will ultimately be used to repay her campaign debts.
Keep President-Elect Trump and our nation in your prayers. The enemy doesn’t want to let this one go just yet.
