The are many diets out there that promise to help you lose weight, but many of these diets involve starving yourself or complicated meal plans that are hard to fit around a busy lifestyle.

This effective diet will help you to lose a pound a day, if completed for five days, to help kick-start weight loss before a longer diet plan.

Many people have attested to this diet working for them, so what are you waiting for? Follow these easy steps, but remember to not stray from the diet for five days.

A bunch of parsley (2oz or 60 grams)
One lemon
One cup of water

Once you have acquired the ingredients, here is how to make it:

Dice the parsley, or blend if you have a blender until finely chopped
Take all of the juice from the lemon
Place the juice in the blender on top of the diced parsley
Add water

Drink in the morning when you wake up. This should be the first thing that you consume, meaning before you even drink water or have breakfast.

Drink the juice for five days straight. Don’t skip a day.

Once you have reached the fifth day, stop for 10 days, and resume if you need to lose more weight.

This juice diet is effective as it provides the body with vitamins and nutrients so that it does not go hungry.
