Ladies and gentlemen, when you find out the power of bananas you won’t want to put one down.

We as a culture have been conditioned to put more value in items that look “new” and “shiny,” but those qualities don’t always lead to a better product.

Have you ever eaten a banana with brown spots on it? Have no fear, you have done your body an incredible service.

For those of you who see brown spots, and assume your banana has gone rotten, you NEED to read this! Bananas are a strange fruit in that the more brown spots it has, the more ripe it is. Actually, those brown spots indicate high amounts of TNF (Tumor Necrosis Factor), which helps fight against cancer cells.

What? Bananas help fight against cancer? How did I not know about this?!

Yes, research has shown that TNF can interfere and inhibit tumor cell growth, but that’s not all. Here are some other ways bananas help you out:

Heartburn, Blood Pressure, Energy, Anemia, Ulcers, Depression, Constipation, Nerves or PMS, Temperature Control

So next time you have a spotty banana don’t throw it out, eat it up. Maybe you aren’t a fan of the mushy texture, just go toss it in a smoothie! Either way, do your body a favor!

We need to get the message out! Eat spotty bananas!
