Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump recently revealed that a certain experience led to his major conversion to being pro-life and warned that his rival Hillary Clinton will be hostile to people of faith. In an exclusive interview with the Eternal World Television Network (EWTN) host Raymond Arroyo, which aired on Oct. 27, Trump appealed to Catholic voters and other American faithful. The billionaire also opened up about an experience that made him change his views on abortion and become a pro-lifer.

When Arroyo asked him about his strong views on late-term abortion, —Trump recalled how a couple’s argument on the issue made a big impact on him. The couple, whom Trump says he knows very well, argued over the pregnancy of the wife. According to Trump, the pro-choice person wanted to abort their unborn child but the pro-life partner opposed the plan.

“Anyway, they had the baby. It was a long time ago. And the baby is such a magnificent person, who I know, a magnificent person,”

“And the person that was actually pro-choice is now pro-life because of it, and it had a big effect on me …”

Trump added that he is very happy with the personal change he made on his views on abortion.

During the third presidential debate in Las Vegas, Clinton slammed Trump for his proposal to defund abortion giant Planned Parenthood. The Republican presidential candidate struck back by accusing her of supporting late-term abortion, USA Today reports.

Clinton explained that abortion is among the “most personal” decisions that families could make, but Trump said it is not okay with him. Calling her views on the issue “terrible,” the billionaire said those who support Clinton are also supporting the idea that one can “rip the baby” out of the mother’s womb in the ninth month of pregnancy and even up to a few moments before delivery.
