This soup can make you thin. YES! you read it right. This new weight loss technique is especially for those who want to get rid of the stubborn fat from them. The best thing about this cabbage soup diet is you will not feel hungry at all as cabbage is known to be a fulling food.

Research has revealed that consuming food improves the satiety (a feeling of fullness at the end of meal). As cabbage takes a lot of time in digestion, so you tend to feel fuller for a longer time. You can say this recipe is the souper cheap way to lose weight.

Cabbage Soup

With the cabbage soup diet you can lose up to 12 pounds in just a week. If you want to lose more weight, you can start doing workout along with this soup diet till you reach your target weight. This soup works as a detox as well. It removes the toxins off your body and by the end of diet you will see that your sugar and carbs cravings are noticeably diminished.

Ingredients

  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 green peppers
  • 2 cans of tomatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 can of mushrooms
  • 1 bunch of celery
  • Half a head of cabbage
  • 1 teaspoon salt (my preference)
  • 2 large white onions

Directions

Take a large pan. Slice onions and add garlic.

Cut the stem end off the green pepper. After that cut pepper in half to take the seeds out. Then cut the green pepper into small bite size pieces and add to pan.

Now take out the outer leafs of the cabbage. Cut into bite size pieces, then add to pan.

Then clean mushroom, carrots and celery, also cut them into bite size pieces and toss them in. Now in the end add tomatoes.

Now fill the pan with about 12 cups of water, cover and put on low heat. Let soup simmer for a long time, at least for about 1.5 to 2 hours or until vegetables are tender and fully-done.

How it Works

This 7 day soup diet is designed to lose maximum weight in a minimum time. You have to drink this soup for at least 7 days. Drink it twice a day. You can have bananas or other fruits if you feel hungry but strictly NO carbs or junk in between.
